Marrakech

It's chaotic. It's hectic. It's beautiful. It's where Moroccan tradition meets modern charm - That's right it's Marrakech we're talking about. !

Marrakech is probably the most famous city in Morocco - with good reason.

It is our go-to city, when we need a weekend escape.

We usually take the bus from Agadir for 110-140MAD - and the bus is great!

Its a beautiful drive along the atlas mountains and it takes around 3.5 hours.

Marrakech is completely different from our everyday life in Tamraght, and that's why we love it.

It is busy. Confusing. Bubbly. Beautiful. Full of surprises. Loud.

No matter how many times we go to Marrakech, each trip is different and we always return home with new impressions and memories from the red city.

But what to do? Where to eat, and where to sleep? Here are our best tips:

Souks

If shopping is your cardio then Marrakech's souks are the best workout!

Walk through a labyrinth of colorful alleys filled with handcrafted treasures, from fashion textiles and bohemian jewelry to funky streetwear and Insta-worthy Moroccan items.

It's not just about the shopping; Haggling with the sellers is like a friendly game, so bring your A-game and get ready for some fantastic deals (if you know how to haggle of course).

Marrakech is world famous for its medina and souks where you can find anything you want, in any size and in any color. Allow yourself to get lost, because the medina is one big labyrinth, and it gives you the option to explore and find the hidden gems.

We love to search and buy our rugs and puffs here, but the hardest challenge is to not end in bankruptcy. You can find the most amazing and beautiful shops at any corner! Below you can see some of our selections.

Marrakech is also filled with beautiful palaces, and they are definitely worth a visit. Our all time favorite is Bahia Palace. The entre is 70MAD and gives you access to the whole palace and its beautiful garden.

Riads Forget hotels. Forget hostels. Forget airbnb - In Marrakech, the real deal is staying in a traditional riad. Riads so not only Instagrammable paradise, the whole vibe is something you can never catch the vibe in a picture. Imagine beautiful courtyards, rooftop terraces, and classic moroccan architecture - you live like royalty without paying much!! Places to check out is Riad RK og Riad Bab 54 - but google is your best friend, and the riads is waiting for you

Marrakech nights

As the sun sets, Marrakech comes alive with an electric atmosphere. Djemaa el-Fna, the city's main square, transforms into a open-air circus. Acrobats, snakes, musicians, and storytellers fill the air.. Marrakech is more than just a city; it's a whirlwind of colors, culture, and captivating moments. From the moment you set foot in this enchanting destination, you'll understand why it's such a cherished place for travelers worldwide. So, pack your bags, grab your camera - yallah!

We love to go to Kabana or Lotus Garden; Good vibes, good food, and amazing drinks

If you've ever wondered if hot air balloon is worth it - listen up!

t's like Google Earth, but you're actually there! You get to see the sunrise above the Atlas Mountains in the most peacefull way! Its hard to describe the magic of this adventure, but it is your ticket to the coolest views, the chillest vibes, and the most amazing adventure. Don't miss out!
